CSK Vs RCB Match Highlights
The IPL 2024 started with a bang, CSK managed to win convincingly against RCB in the high scoring match. With RCB winning the toss elected to bat first, Open the inning with a flying start but fumble in the middle order with 75-5, thanks to Anuj Rawat, supported by Dinesh Karthik 38 run inning, Rcb managed to post 174 target for the CSK to chase. Ajinkya Rahane and Daryl Mitchell scored 27 and 22 in the middle overs. 50 run partnership between Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja helped CSK to chase the target in 18.4 overs, scoring 34 and 25 respectively.
First Double Header of the 17th season of IPL
The first Saturday we will see a double header with Delhi capitals taking on Punjab Kings in the day match and Kolkata Knight Riders are up against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the evening match.
Delhi Capital Vs Punjab Kings
Punjab Kings will be hosting delhi capital in the second match of IPL 2024 in their new home ground Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mohali. With the return of Rishabh Pant will give a boost to the DC team. DC has a balanced team with opening pair of David Warner and Prithvi Shaw. Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marsh in the middle order and all-rounders like Axar Patel, and Lalit Yadav giving depth in their batting line up. They have some experienced bowlers as well with the likes of Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, and Anrich Nortje making the team balanced.
Punjab Kings has the likes of Liam Livingstone, Jonny Bairstow, Shikhar Dhawan who can win matches for their team single handedly. The bowling unit also looks strong with their main bowler Arshdeep Singh, and Kagiso Rabada taking the charge. The addition of Harshal Patel adds more experience in the death bowling of the unit. Punjab King has many all-rounders which give more balance to the team, all-rounders to look out for are Sam Curran, Jitesh Sharma, Nathan Ellis, and Sikandar Raza

Kolkata Knight Riders Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
The Second match of the double header will witness two most expensive players take on each other at Eden Garden, Kolkata. Kolkata Knight Riders to take on Sunriser Hyderabad at 8:00 PM IST.
The two time champions will take on the field with its captain Shreyas Iyer, back in the squad after missing out IPL 2023 due to injury. KKR team would be in high morale with the experienced and lethal bowler Mitchel Starc in their team and returning of former skipper Gautam Gambhir as support staff. Starc will be supported by Harshit Rana and all-rounder Andre Russell in the bowling department. Spin department will be led by Varun Chakravarthy. Their batting order looked more balanced with Shreyas Iyer in the middle overs and Phil Salt, and Venkatesh Iyer opening for the team. KKR has found a good finisher in Rinku Singh, he will be playing a crucial role this year for Kkr.
SRH is back with new Caption and new Coach again this season with Pat Cummins taking charge of the team. Mayank Agarwal, and Travis Head to open the innings for SRH, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, and Heinrich Klaasen handling the middle order. The bowling unit has always been the highlights of the team with this year experienced Pat Cummins, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will get support from Umran Malik, T. Natarajan which make their pace unit Balanced.
Both teams have played 25 matches against each other, KKR having the upper hand with 16 wins and SRH with 9 wins.
